According to the CDC guidelines, a fever is defined as a measured temperature of 100.4° F (38° C) or greater, or feels warm to the touch, or gives a history of feeling feverish.
If you are having a fever as defined above, it is recommended that you answer yes to the question “Do you have a fever?”
